Summer is in FULL swing this year which means you need to be able to pack like a pro so you can enjoy your much deserved trips. It doesn’t matter where you’re going, it’s important that you pack smart and are fully prepared.
Thinking about it now, I’m not sure I’ve ever had a trip go exactly the way I planned. Not even business trips! But being prepared for the worst case scenario is the best way you can be ready! This is possible to do without stressing or overpacking. Life is an adventure, you never know what’s going to happen, especially if you’re visiting somewhere you’ve never been before.
Also, having a strategy when packing avoids any wasted time from overpacking. Why spend a single cent of your travel budget on baggage that is over the weight limit anyways? That money would get much better use towards your beachside cocktails, adventurous excursions or unique local fashion and mementos!
First, whether you’re going away for business or pleasure, you need to do a little homework. Research and analyze your destination for information that travelers should be aware of. Keeping the following questions in mind will also help:
1. What will the climate be like at my destination? 2. What activities will I be doing? 3. What image am I trying to project?
Additionally, I don’t need to remind you of the fundamentals like how many days you’ll be traveling, business or pleasure etc. The point is to plan ahead!
