Lover of fashion, passionate about personal image, and former fashion executive now dedicated to assisting professional women level up!

Most of my clients do not follow fashion.
In fact, many of the professional women I work with tell me the same thing.
They do not love shopping.
They do not want to spend hours scrolling retail websites.
And they certainly do not want to chase every new trend that appears each season.
What they want is simple.
They want to know what actually works.
They want a wardrobe that supports their lifestyle, their leadership role, and their personal brand without unnecessary effort or guesswork.
That is exactly why I review the runways every season.
Since my days in the 90’s as a non-paid fashion intern in San Francisco, I have been doing fashion forecasting and reviewing collections from around the world.
Today I still review over 100 runway shows each season from New York, London, Milan, and Paris.
Not because professional women need to follow fashion.
But because someone needs to translate the trends into something practical and relevant for real life.
My role is to filter through the noise and identify the spring 2026 fashion trends professional women can actually wear.
The trends that elevate your wardrobe.
The trends that strengthen your image.
And just as importantly, the trends that are better left on the runway.
Because when it comes to professional women spring style 2026, the goal is not to follow fashion.
The goal is to make your wardrobe work for the woman you are today.
For the past few years I have reviewed runway shows and collections and honestly felt underwhelmed.
Trends felt repetitive and disconnected from real life.
Then came the quiet luxury movement.
While the concept sounds appealing, it never fully aligned with the Polished philosophy.
At Polished we have always taught that every woman should have a core capsule wardrobe of high-quality, well fitting basics that support her lifestyle.
But those basics are only the foundation.
Fashion pieces are what bring your personal style and image to life.
The spring 2026 runway trends that are actually wearable are finally reflecting something exciting again.
This season celebrates:
• Personal expression
• Individuality
• Quality tailoring
• Texture and movement
• Color and personality
These elements are exactly what help professional women build a strong leadership presence through their image.
Before you add a single piece to your wardrobe this season, pause and ask yourself three questions.
These questions matter.
Trends should never control your wardrobe.
They should support your identity.
At Polished, women learn how to manage their wardrobe using the Polished ID™ Method, a structured system that aligns clothing with lifestyle, leadership goals, and personal brand.
Your style should always feel intentional.
After reviewing the runway collections and early spring retail deliveries (because all runway trends do not make it to retail), these are the spring 2026 work wardrobe trends worth adopting.
Oversized blazers dominated for several seasons.
Now tailoring is making a powerful return.
Look for:
• Strong shoulders
• Defined waistlines
• Clean structure
• Impeccable tailoring
A perfectly tailored blazer immediately communicates authority and polish.
Accessories are taking center stage again.
Statement earrings are one of the easiest ways to modernize your wardrobe without replacing everything in your closet.
They help:
• Bring attention to your face
• Elevate simple outfits
• Add personality to classic looks
For professional settings, think bold yet refined.
Statement skirts are one of the most exciting spring fashion 2026 office trends.
These skirts are designed to be the centerpiece of your outfit.
Style them with:
• Tailored blazers
• Elegant blouses
• Simple tanks
• Classic knit tops
The skirt becomes the moment while the rest of the outfit remains polished.
Relaxed button down shirts are returning in a big way.
This style looks polished yet effortless.
They work beautifully with:
• Tailored trousers
• Statement skirts
• Office appropriate denim
Add great accessories and a polished face of makeup and go.
Bomber jackets are becoming a stylish alternative to traditional blazers.
They add depth and personality to your look while still feeling modern and polished.
Expect to see them in:
• Rich colors
• Interesting patterns
• Elevated fabrics
They are a great layering piece for spring.
One of the most exciting spring 2026 runway trends wearable in real life is texture.
This season fabrics are not flat or boring.
Designers are using:
• Textured fabrics
• Movement in garments
• Interesting fabric combinations
The easiest way to wear this trend is pairing a textured piece with something smooth.
Example:
A textured jacket paired with sleek trousers
A textured skirt paired with a silk blouse
Fringe is appearing again this season.
But this is not festival fringe.
This fringe is elegant and subtle.
You will see it on:
• Skirt hems
• Handbags
• Shirt details
It adds movement and interest to otherwise classic pieces.
Soft draping is showing up on both dresses and tops this season.
Draped garments add shape and dimension to an outfit.
For the woman with a romantic style personality, this is definitely a trend worth trying.
This trend is not for everyone.
However, long tailored shorts and Capri pants are gaining traction in city fashion.
When styled correctly with blazers or structured tops they create a modern summer look.
I will admit something.
I love black.
But over the past few years I have been anchoring my clients in more navy and brown foundations.
Those colors allow bold colors to really stand out.
The spring fashion 2026 office palette includes everything from rich browns to vibrant statement colors.
Just remember that color must flatter your skin tone.

Some silhouettes remain strong this season.
The biggest continuing trends include:
• Wide leg pants
• Flared leg pants
• Denim
These silhouettes continue to dominate both casual and professional wardrobes.
Not every runway trend belongs in a professional wardrobe.
Here are three trends I recommend avoiding.
Mini skirts are still appearing in fashion.
However, they are not appropriate in professional environments.
If you want to be taken seriously in leadership spaces, skirts should remain at knee length or longer.
Balloon skirts can be dramatic and artistic.
However, they are difficult to wear in real life and rarely work in professional settings.
Crop tops continue appearing in fashion.
However they belong in weekend wardrobes, not professional environments.
Always respect the environment you are dressing for.
At Polished we do not teach women to follow every trend.
We teach them to adopt trends strategically.
Many professional women struggle with their wardrobe not because they lack taste, but because they lack clarity.
Clarity changes everything.
Before buying anything new this season, ask yourself one important question.
What stage is my wardrobe currently in?
At Polished we guide women through four wardrobe stages:
• Define and Refine
• Edit
• Update
• Create
Your stage determines whether you need clarity, editing, updating, or outfit creation.
