But here’s what I know: the day you choose to embrace the body you have today and get dressed with intention, everything shifts. Your posture changes. Your mood lifts. You walk out the door like you mean it.
And that’s what being a Polished Woman is about.
I’ve been a size 8. I’ve been a size 20. And I found my true body confidence at a size 16. These days, I float between a size 12 and 14 depending on the day, and let me tell you, tailoring has saved my life more times than I can count. Knowing how to dress your body, in your colors, and putting details where they matter most is a game changer.
This is exactly what I teach inside my In-Depth Style and Image Consultation. It’s not about changing who you are. It’s about seeing yourself clearly, honoring your shape, and learning how to dress it in a way that makes you feel like the powerful woman you are.

1. Stop Comparing Yourself to Instagram Models
They are not you. Their lifestyle, genetics, editing apps, lighting, and posing do not reflect real life. Constant comparison is a thief of joy. Let it go.
2. Follow Stylish Women With Bodies Like Yours
Instead of following unrealistic ideals, find women who look like you and style themselves well. Save their looks. Use them for inspiration. Train your eye to see what’s possible, not what’s unattainable.
3. Tailor Everything That Matters
A good tailor is your best-kept secret. Whether it’s a blazer, jeans, or a dress, if it fits your body perfectly, it looks expensive, flattering, and confident.
4. Wear Colors That Make You Pop
When you wear the right shades, you glow. Your skin looks alive. You feel better instantly. A well-placed color, accessory, or detail can draw the eye exactly where you want it to go.
5. Only Keep Clothes That Fit the Body You Have Now
Let go of the guilt clothes. The ones you’re “waiting to fit into again.” Your closet should celebrate who you are right now. Anything else is taking up space and dragging down your energy.
If you’ve been staring at your reflection wishing things were different, I want you to know you are not broken. You are not behind. You are not the only one.
The most powerful thing you can do today is decide to stop waiting. Start dressing for the life you want. Right now. As you are.
Because you deserve to feel amazing in your skin and in your clothes.
