Reiss – This is a British brand that I couldn’t love more. The quality and styling are perfect for the businesswoman who wants to invest in her wardrobe. They also have great wardrobe basics like T-shirts and tank tops that won’t break the bank. Reiss will ensure that your casual outfits look just as sophisticated as your business outfits!
Mango – Another great British brand that delivers seasonal trends and fashion colors that will awaken any existing wardrobe. I also love that they offer extended sizes – check out their Curve collection!
Banana Republic – Now, this is a retailer that has gone through so many changes since Covid! Initially I felt like the assortments were a little bit lackluster, and the price points aren’t as affordable as they used to be. But over time, I’ve seen a significant increase in quality. Banana Republic is still a great place to find great quality wardrobe basics and classic silhouettes in the latest seasonal colors.
Nordstrom – For a minute, I didn’t even recognize my favorite all-time retailer. (And I know it wasn’t just me!) Their buyers have been struggling to find innovative and cutting-edge merchandise. But I’m happy to report that this season, I’ve seen a big change. The retailer is importing off-shore brands and buying new smaller brands to wake up its seasonal fashion offerings!
& Other Stories – The one thing that I hate about this retailer is that they sell out of items I love too fast! However, I’ll always turn to them over their sister brand H&M. The items are much better quality! This fashion-forward brand is guaranteed to have items that are special enough to turn heads, and they’re also guaranteed make you feel amazing.
Anthropologie – I don’t know about you, but my black wardrobe has been needing an infusion of color and prints lately. I love that you can find items appropriate for the office and your casual events. If you’re looking for a special top or dress, this is a retailer that caters to all different sizes and taste levels!
City Chic – This plus-size retailer has everything you need for all occasions. I love their assortment of dresses, and the colors they choose are on point season after season! They cut their garments to flatter the woman – a woman with curves – to make sure every detail is flawless.
COS – This fashion-forward brand definitely has a point of view! It’s the perfect brand if you’re looking for bold and artistic pieces, but you can find lots of great basics here too. And don’t skip the accessories – make sure to check out the jewelry and shoes!
Eloquii – Now, I struggle with their quality at times. But if you’re looking for plus-size fashion, this brand delivers! They do cut their merchandise large – so you might want to scale down when ordering.
Amazon – Years ago, I never saw myself buying anything from Amazon to handle my fashion needs. However, I’ve gotta keep it real. If you’re looking for something in a pinch and can’t find it at retail, nine out of ten times, you will be able to find it on Amazon! (And furthermore – you better not sleep on their selection of designer items!)
